Covid 19 Corona Virus Statement - Updated July 2020
As we continue to work through the changing circumstances of Covid-19, I wanted to update you around what we’re doing in response. Our priority continues to remain the health and well-being of our people, our clients, our supplier partners and communities. We have robust contingency plans and procedures in place, to provide continued services to our clients.
We are now operating with a largely returned team in order to support our customer and supplier requirements. The team are now primarily office based with a few continuing to work from home. We have alternate office arrangements in place to provide flexible working, which we have equipped as Business Continuity Remote Office Bases. All workers are aware of their actions in the event of a need to assemble in their designated location.
We maintain a no visitor policy at our offices, have split our stock holdings across varying locations and removed cross office sharing. This will ensure if one building enters quarantine we can still offer our clients service delivery when they need us.
As we continue to manage our relationships remotely and by virtual technology methods, our offices are fully staffed to take your calls or emails. We also utilise Microsoft Office 365 and will look to hold any communications via a Microsoft Teams Video Conference where required or preferred.
You can also update us of your current circumstances by calling 0870 220 8211 or via our COVID19 email address: covid19@globalfireandsecurity.co.uk
This is a monitored mailbox and we will reply to you as soon as we can. Alternatively, please contact your account managers who will also be happy to assist you.
I hope that you, your families and colleagues stay safe and we will be in regular contact with you.
Kind regards,
Ian
